The newest addition to our extended family is every bit the character. Already. His marching orders were to go to sleep, and stay asleep while I photographed him in all the adorable poses I had dreamed up.

But alas, he wouldn't.

He shimmied his limbs around without a care in the world,

his sweet face fixated on his crazy aunt -


and oh, those amazing baby bits!
