Each time the wind blew, my olfactory senses were inundated with the perfume of lavender. Ah, what a restful location indeed.



Little M and big sister E were intoxicated with the lavender all about them,

running with the kind of joyous abandon that only young children can adequately express:







Like these beautiful girls, I hope that all of you have had a special someone in your life that you shared your childhood days with:







It really is a good thing.

It was a warm day that begged for runs through the grass and adventures running fingers along the crackly tree trunks:

So that we did for hours, until the wee little one collapsed into the stroller:

No joke: The photographer Heather at Heather Farm Park! And I had no hand in crafting this together.

Sabrina and Preet brought their darling little boy with them for their family session. Poor little A wasn't too thrilled with the weather - 94 degrees with Bay Area humidity. We worked quickly, so as not to lose anyone in the heat. :) But you couldn't tell in the photos, because this family was so calm and collected.

If you haven't noticed already, Sabrina and Preet are just slightly good looking. Okay, really good looking. But they're so nice that it cancels out any envy that may well up from the gut:

A was so intrigued by the heavy canopy of leaves that he forgot about the heat for a few moments:





He didn't feel like looking at the crazy lady with the camera:



But he did humor me every now and then - I just want to squeeze those munchable cheeks:

Joyce and Diana, Class of '09

These two wonderful ladies will be donning their caps and gowns soon. And off they soar into heights yet undiscovered - what a pleasure it is to be the one to freeze this moment in time for them....

Diana admitted that she didn't like to get in front of the camera. Why not?!? The camera is in love with your heart stopping smile!

I kept telling her how much she looks like my cousin. She really does!

And my girl Joyce is the future photographer. She demonstrated an impressive intuitive knowledge about the artistry of capturing images. I tell you, she worked' it - does she know how to strike a pose! This photographer had no complaints about that:

A mild September weekend

My Amanda and her friend Brooke just love to hang out with one another. During a weekend visit with Brooke's family, I got a chance to capture their admiration for one another:
