Cassie and Jeremy - One year later | Boise Photographer

Meet Howie, arguably one of the cutest Shi Tzus I've seen:

His Mom and Dad think so too:

You remember Cassie and Jeremy, don't you? It was a scorching, late summer wedding the last I photographed them, so this couple wasn't fazed by the heat. Howie happily tagged along:

Then he rested in a shady spot as Mom and Dad continued on with the session:

The Sahota Family | Bay Area CA Lifestyles Photographer

So the request was simple - we'd like some family photos, the parents said. No sweat, I said. After all, I'd done this for them before.

Well, there was a little bit of sweat involved, eh Mom and Dad? :)

We made like acrobats to keep up with the two children, whose life goals don't have anything to do with having their family photos taken by a slightly wacky (but nice) photographer lady. But it was a whole lot of fun.

Siblings

Just look at these two. I almost took them home, they are so munchable!

They had me at pudgy smiley face, to-die-for springy raven curls, sparkly personalities. Is it fair to have all this in one family?

One look at the parents, and you see why the children are so beautiful.

I just love the joy on their faces.

Okay, everyone can relax now:

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!

It's been a long time, my friends. I've been busy serving as an incubator of a precious life - this is my final trimester of a sometimes difficult pregnancy. Needless to say, I've much to attend to here. Soon, very soon.

Until then, here's a peek into a recent session with a family whose friendship I cherish:

Baby M | CA Bay Area Photographer

The first moment I laid eyes on Baby M, I chuckled aloud at the familiar little face staring back at me. You see, M's Dad and my brother have been close friends since the Dark Ages, and so I am Auntie Heather to him. Yes I am. And as an auntie, can I just say how devastatingly handsome he is?

No doubt you'll agree with me:

M decided he really didn't know me well enough to crack a smile for me for the first two hours. That is, until Mom decided to tickle him to smithereens - THEN I got the adorable faces:

(This is a custom collage option, by the way!)

Mom had another brilliant idea - let's make him into a teddy bear and nestle him into more teddy bears! Well, we liked the idea, but someone didn't:

At least there is one shot where he isn't beet red :

Mom and Dad worked quite diligently to create some magical moments to capture:

Love you guys!
