With an innocent twinkle in his eyes, the sixth grader emerged from behind the bleachers and introduced himself.

"I'm Thomas. Nice to meet you, Miss Heather."

I was taken by the old soul quality in this boy and ended up talking to him at length while his sister and my daughter pranced across the balance beam in their gymnastics class. It was clear that his mother, Julie (now a dear friend of mine), was extremely proud of him.

This may be the understatement of the century, but his family is prouder still of who he has become - a man of upright character; articulate with a twist of humor; strikingly handsome without a hint of arrogance... I could go on and on. Are you blushing yet, Thomas?



If you're not, girls far and wide sure are now -

With or without the fedora, you will move and shake this world!

Cassie and Jeremy - One year later | Boise Photographer

You remember Cassie and Jeremy, don't you? It was a scorching, late summer wedding the last I photographed them, so this couple wasn't fazed by the heat. Howie happily tagged along:

Back from a looooonnnnnngggggg hiatus!

Hello again, my dear friends. It's truly been a long time since I last updated here. Been a little busy, you could say - the "little busy" is my precious fourth daughter, Zoe Anne:

(click the announcement for credits) I won't lie to you... life with four girls (and three that are five-years-old and under) has taken a huge adjustment. As hard as it may be at times, my husband and I feel so incredibly blessed. I don't know how I ever lived without my sweet ZA. But I'm back to play, so please join me for the ride!
